HKL – How to login and play Games and Activities:

1. Go to www.helpkidzlearn.com and click on the Games and Activities box.

2. Click the green login button.

3. Enter the username and password access details. (This is the one that is NOT an email address. The email address is used by the administrator to manage the subscription; the non email address is used to login to ChooseIt Maker to play, create, and organize activities).

4. Games & Activities are organized into 5 categories. Click one of the category tabs at the top of the page to see a list of the Games and Activities in that section.

  • Early Years: Highly motivating activities to get students interacting with early learning concepts such as cause and effect and timing skills
  • Games: Game-style activities to develop various skills through fun, lighthearted play
  • Stories: Activities that follow a step by step format for students to follow along. A collection of social stories and counting songs
  • Creative: Activities that give your students the opportunity to freely explore their creativity
  • Find Out: Explore different environments and scenes, making errored and errorless choices

5. In each of the five sections, the Games & Activities are shown in a list with an image, title, and brief description. When you click on an activity more information about it is displayed in the yellow box on the right of the page, including a full description and the different access options. To play an activity, click the “Click to play” button in the yellow box.

6. You will then be prompted to choose your access settings. Select the access method your student is using, then click the green play button in the upper left corner. The arrows to the right will take you to more options to customize access settings. We recommend discussing your student’s individual needs with their teacher. For switch access, use “space” and “enter” commands.

7. Play through the entire activity. To end the activity early, click the red X in the upper right corner. You can also click the settings icon in the upper right corner at any point during the activity to adjust the access settings.

8. After completing an activity, the end screen will appear. Click the green play button or wait for the timer to run out to repeat the activity. Alternatively, click the red X button to exit the activity and return to the home page.

9. At the end of your session, click “logout” in the upper right corner of the page. This helps avoid issues of getting locked out of your account if too many users are logged into the system.
