Assistive Technology Kits

To combat the effects of Covid-19 on educational agencies, Congress has allocated $190 billion for K-12 education through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds. This funding provides the opportunity to equip schools with assistive technology to meet the requirements of all students of varying abilities and needs. With the availability of this funding, we put together an assortment of bundles to assist you in your decision-making process, based on combinations that we believe to meet the needs of the most students in the most cost-effective way. Different bundles are available depending on your larger goals, and each includes a 1 hour zoom training session to familiarize you with the devices and get the best use out of them. Alternative Access Kits

A collection of assorted alternative access devices, including joysticks, rollerballs, switch interfaces, switches, and keyboards. The standard kit includes the most popular devices ideal for a wide variety of students of varying abilities. The premium kit includes a larger quantity of some of these devices, as well as more to provide an even wider variety of access.

iPad Kits

A collection of devices ideal for accessing iPads using alternative access devices, as well as for using an iPad to control the surrounding environment. The standard kits provide everything you need for iPad access and control using switches, joysticks, and keyboards. The premium kit includes a larger quantity of some of these devices, as well as a jPad for unique line-by-line iPad scanning and Skyle for eye gaze access to the iPad.

Classroom Kits

A collection of some of our most popular items for the special needs classroom. The standard kit provides a tablet preinstalled with our 50 most popular switch accessible software titles, switches, switch communicators, environmental and battery-operated toy control units, switch accessible musical devices, and the Cosmo interactive therapy switch collection for iPad. The premium kit includes these same items in addition to a larger quantity of some items and an replaces the tablet with an all-in-one desktop computer system complete with our 50 most popular switch accessible software titles, eye gaze hardware, eye gaze software, and the entire SimplyWorks collection to provide an assortment of wireless alternative access.

Eye Gaze Kits

A collection of eye gaze items to get you started with eye gaze access to both iPad and Windows systems. The standard kit provides the eye gaze hardware and software to be used with your current devices (add your own iPad and computer). The premium kit provides the Skyle for the iPad (iPad not included) as well as two all-in-one systems: a portable solution with the Surface Pro and a desktop solution with the Windows touch PC.
